Letter from the president
Welcome to the Epsilon Phi chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Florida! As chapter president, it is my privilege to offer you this glimpse into our sisterhood and my home away from home.
It feels like just yesterday I was making the most meaningful decision I’ve made during my time at UF: when I chose to become a part of Kappa Kappa Gamma. It's a privilege to be president of a chapter made up of talented, beautiful, and ambitious women who aspire to grow in passion and knowledge throughout their time at UF. And, that's our motto "Aspire To Be;" because as kappas we are always aspiring to be better women, leaders, and friends.
We are extremely lucky to call Kappa Kappa Gamma our home because it's filled with the sweetest sisterhood of young women who continue to inspire, encourage and love on one another each and every day. Though we are all diverse in our backgrounds, looks, and personalities, the very core of our hearts remain the same. We are women who kappa, which makes us alike.
These girls have taught me so much about living a life of purpose and just plain fun, but most of all, the beauty of true friendship. From having our hiphop fitness classes in the house, to reading to kids in local schools for RIF, to brunching with our families on Family Weekend, to initiating 78 of the most wonderful new members this past fall, my experiences with my sisters have made the sweetest mark on my life and college experience. When I graduate and move into a different chapter of my life, I can say with confidence that my experiences as a Kappa will have molded me into a confident woman.
I encourage you to check out the rest of our website to see all that our chapter has to offer! And then you'll see why I call this sweet place my home.
Peace love kappa,
