Chapter Philanthropy

Kappa Kickball: In the spring of each year, the Epsilon Phi chapter hosts Kappa Kickball benefiting Reading Is Fundamental (RIF). Sisters serve as coaches for a kickball tournament and work with their teams to raise awareness about RIF while having a good time. Kappa also supports RIF throughout the year, through numerous book drives and working as volunteers to read with children in Gainesville.

Let's Taco Bout Mental Health: Each fall, the Epsilon Phi chapter hosts Let’s Taco Bout Mental Health, our signature philanthropy event benefiting The JED Foundation. Sisters work together to create an inviting space centered on education, conversation, and support for mental health awareness, all while bringing the community together for a fun and meaningful experience. Throughout the semester, Kappa continues to promote mental wellness by partnering with campus organizations, sharing resources, and encouraging open dialogue that helps reduce stigma and empowers students to prioritize their well-being.

Kappas understand the importance of supporting other organizations in their philanthropic endeavors. Our sisters participate in a wide variety of Greek philanthropy events, including those outside of National Panhellenic Council and the Interfraternity Council. In addition to philanthropic Greek life, Kappas dedicate their time to several other service projects, including Dance Marathon at UF, for which we raised over $60,000 in 2019.
